Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Kit mobile application ("the App") operated by Kylie Kretschmer ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Account

You must create an account to use Kit. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

Subscription

Kit requires a paid subscription to access its features. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or annual) depending on the plan you select.

• iOS/Android: Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play via RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's subscription settings.
• Web: Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. You can manage your subscription through the App or by contacting us.

Prices are displayed before purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription requirements

AI-Generated Content

Kit uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to generate meal plans, parse recipes, and provide suggestions. AI-generated content is provided for convenience and informational purposes.

• Not medical or nutritional advice. AI-generated meal plans and nutrition estimates are approximations. Consult a healthcare professional for dietary or medical guidance.
• Allergen disclaimer. While Kit filters recipes based on your dietary restrictions, AI-generated suggestions may not account for all allergens or cross-contamination risks. Always review ingredients and product labels before preparing or consuming food.

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create in the App (custom recipes, meal plans, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide the service.

Intellectual Property

The App, its design, features, and system recipes are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
